2 parts: messenger bag + sleeve

This idea for tablet bag has two parts: 1. Simple sleeve for tablet. - Probably made out of fabric covered neopren. - Open at short end (with or without a zipper) Idea is that this can be taken out and be used also separetly and it will also protect the tablet while in bigger bag. 2. Messenger bag. - Canvas etc. - In front of the bag is a separate compartment for part 1.(sleeve) - This has a two way zipper so that it can be opened from either one of its lower ends. (when zipper is closed the "bits" are in opposite ends of it) This means that it can easily be opened from both sides. - Lid of the bag is designed so that it is possible to access tablet compartment without opening the lid. This makes it faster to access the tablet. - There should be couple removable plastic plates inside the messenger bag to make it easier to divide it to different parts (like parers and "other stuff" ). - Inside of the messenger bag should be of light color. This makes it easier to find small objects like pens and keys that are on bottom of the bag. Downside is that also stains are more visible. Messenger bag could come in few colors, at least black / dark blue and a lighter version. This design would be suiteble for both men and women. More details in picture.

Steampunk mashup of tweed and Cordura

We all know that good device bags are almost always made of variants one of two types of material: neoprene and Cordura. Neoprene is its own deal but Cordura, that synthetic fabric that's water-resistant, tear-resistant, stain-resistant, and so on, is more than past due for a move forward. I would love to see a fabric made of that kind of fiber in that kind of weave but with threads of several different similar colors, mixed up together, like a good tweed. Maybe dark brown, light brown, mustard yellow, and grey. Or, like a real Harris tweed, with a few bright contrasty threads of green or red thrown into the mix. I need my messenger bag to be tough. Very tough. I carry not just computers but also things like machine tools and samples of building materials in it, sometimes not so neatly broken off. And let me tell you, sharp-edged hunks of granite will shred most fabric in weeks. But I'm also tired of yet more black bags. C'mon, can we PLEASE move past choices limited to flat black, bright solid colors, and big slabs of, hmm, flat black or bright colors? Think how cool it would be to have a tweed-looking bag with brass fittings that was also lightweight, ripstop, waterproof, and so on. That's MY kind of steampunk. And let's keep in mind that once you guys had the stuff being made you could, I guarantee, sell it as yard goods to folks who would be glad to do other things with it. Can you just imagine a greatcoat made of this kind of material? Summerweight shoes? Just think of it: tweed Chucks that can survive being shoved between the gears of industrial machinery. Anyway, that's it. Please move on this. After twenty-five years of the same damn thing I'm so very ready for something better.

A super light weight shoulder bag. Nothing much to it apart from light pieces of rubber and a hinge. The basic rubber frame holds the iPad in place by way of four snug corner pieces. A feature I'd like to see is a hinge that can be locked in place to allow the iPad to sit horizontally rather than vertically when still slung over the shoulder or around the neck - that way you can have both hands free and the device is still supported. I'm not much of an artist but I knocked together a basic sketch that might help you get what I'm talking about.

I can’t carry multiple bags, so I want a tablet bag that can work as a handbag. It should not be a slim sleeve kind of bag; it should have enough space to accommodate all my stuffs along with iPad. I would love to change handbags quite often, if it suits to my pocket. It should have stunning looks along with an attractive price tag.

I carry a lot of stuff in my handbag while travelling. It will be useful to have a single bag in the place of a handbag and a netbook bag.It should look like a handbag and should be sturdy enough for the netbook.

This bag reminds me of the popular comic called: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" I wouldn't mind wearing this bag the whole day to let people take notice of it. The shell design gives the feeling of strong protection on whatever is inside the bag

A sleeve bag a man could use

I think we need a product that a bloke could use to carry around his iPad, or similar sized device. Key factors will of course include, styling - i.e. not flowery, and protection because you're going to need something that will help protect your shiny new device out there in the big bad world...A reckon a simple sleeve style design would suit points. This image is the best I can find that seems to tick both boxes for me...although it is in fact designed for a notebook PC, not a tablet...
